What is the Low Vision?

We understand that a person has Low Vision when with the best optical conventional alteration, he does not reach the sufficient visual keenness to be able to realize certain tasks or activities of the daily life.

Whom are Visual Helps directed to?

They are directed for all those persons with Low Vision that, after an exaustive examination, they are sufficiently motivated and visually qualified to benefit from the Visual Helps.

What does the help for Low Vision consist of?

The system consists of increasing the size of the objects, that is to say of extending the image in the retina.

Help Types:

Optical helps of distant vision:
Pocket Telescopes or mounted in footsore, monoculars or binoculars.

Optical helps for near vision:
Loupes, telemicroscopes, microscopes mounted in footsore, monoculars, binoculars or bifocals.

Electronic helps:
Loupe-television, increasing systems for computer.

Special filters:
They avoid the dazzle and provide major contrast.

Non-optical helps:
Lamps, easels... They are complementary helps that allow better ergonomics, major contrast and lighting
